My fun trip in Switzerland

When I was 11, my family and I took a fun 4 day trip, during winter break, to Davos, Switzerland. We took a plane from Orlando to Atlanta, then Atlanta to Zurich, and finally, drove the car from Zurich to Davos. I was only in the 5th grade; therefore, was extremely excited to finally get out of North America.
When my family and I got to the hotel for the first time, we checked in and went straight down to the Jacuzzi outside in 0 degrees Farenheight. I remember it felt so cool because my face was freezing while the rest of my body was nice and warm. After the Jacuzzi I remember we went to the hotel for dinner where we had fondue, which I did not really like at the time, but it was ok. After dinner I went to go get my snowboard fit, because the next day we were going to hit the slopes.
The first day I went snowboarding was amazing! I woke up around 9:00 a.m., had a nice breakfast, got dressed, and headed to the train that took us to the base of the mountain. When I got to the top, I could see the entire city of Davos and more. To be honest, I was a little bit nervous because it was the first time I snowboarded in 3 years. If I recall, I think during the first run I fell down about 5 times and I almost took out another person on a narrow passage. But it was ok, because after the exhilarating first run I had, I got use to it again and only fell a couple more times as the day went on. When I got to the hotel later that day I was so happy because I knew I would be able to get into that hot Jacuzzi and relax. After a fun dinner I had with my family, I got back to the hotel and started feeling sore from all the wipe outs I had during the day.
The second day I went snowboarding was a very interesting one. It started off fine because the soreness was pretty much all gone. But later as the day went, I started to feel soreness in my legs and buttocks. The worst part of the trip happened around 3 P.M. I was starting to go down the mountain and I felt my bindings started to get loose, but I thought it was fine so I kept going. Unfortunately that was a mistake on my part because on one of my turns I could not turn because the screw to my binding came off; therefore, I had a fun little wipe out. This caused me and my dad to walk up the steep mountain, while I was sore and tired. This unfortunately ended my snowboarding trip because we were leaving the next day.
This was a fun little trip that was a highlight for Christmas break that year. Even though I had some unfortunate events happen, I still had a ton of fun and learned a lot about Switzerland and Europe in general.
